Starter Analysis
LA TEE is almost a certainty to be on the lead since that's where he's been in his last four races. Problem is that she has been fading a bit in the final furlong, and that was against Passified and Diamond Diva, both of whom she has to deal with again Saturday. She outran her odds in her last two, and will likely be a big price again and that would add value to the exotics. Not really willing to endorse her for the win, but can't fault those who do use her underneath.

Pedigree Analysis :: Bay filly, 4; by Broken Vow - Ashcreek (Stalwart)
The speedy LA TEE has used her turn of foot to work her way through her allowance conditions, but has come up short when she has faced stakes company. With only seven career starts, all on the grass, she's the most lightly raced of the field. All of her three wins came at 6 ½ furlongs or less, while she is 0 for 3 at a mile.

La Tee is by the Pin Oak stallion Broken Vow. Broken Vow went undefeated from four starts at a 3-year-old, including a win in the Sir Barton Stakes; he did not race as a 2-year-old. The following year, Broken Vow won four stakes races and placed in the Gulfstream Park Handicap (gr. I). Altogether, he won nine of 14 starts and over $725,000. Broken Vow is by Unbridled and out of the Nijinsky II mare Wedding Vow; he is bred top and bottom for distance. From his three crops, Broken Vow has sired 14 stakes winners to date, including the millionaire Unbridled Belle (Beldame - gr. I); Cotton Blossom (Acorn - gr. I); and Private Vow, a two-time Grade 2 winner.
