INGLEWOOD, Calif. (June 3, 2014)—In conjunction with the simulcast of the 146th Belmont Stakes this Saturday from Belmont Park, the Hollywood Park OTB rooms will open early.

The General Admission Room will open at 8 a.m. and the Turf Club VIP Room 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The first simulcast from Belmont Park is scheduled for 8:35 a.m.

Additional seating will be available on the 2nd floor of the Casino.

The Triple Crown is on the line in the Belmont. California Chrome, who won the King Glorious in the final stakes race run at Hollywood Park last December 22, will try to complete the first Kentucky Derby-Preakness-Belmont sweep since Affirmed in 1978.

A 3-year-old son of Lucky Pulpit, California Chrome will be ridden once again by Victor Espinoza, is owned by breeders Steve Coburn and Martin Perry, and conditioned by Art Sherman, who spent nearly 60 years at Hollywood Park as an exercise rider, jockey and trainer.
