INGLEWOOD, Calif. (July 17, 2013)—Executiveprivilege, who earned the first two victories of her career at Betfair Hollywood Park, will make her 2013 debut in Thursday’s seventh race at Del Mar.

Post time at Del Mar is 2 p.m. Track gates at Betfair Hollywood Park will open at 10 a.m. for simulcasts.

Owned by Mike Pegram, Karl Watson and Paul Weitman and trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert, Executiveprivilege has been away since finishing fourth as the 2-5 favorite in the Grade I Hollywood Starlet last Dec. 8.

The 3-year-old daughter of First Samurai and the Unaccounted For mare Refugee defeated maidens – despite a horrible start – in her June 28, 2012 debut, then returneed to win the $150,000 Landaluce Stakes by 3 ¼ lengths July 14.

A winner of five of seven with earnings of $940,000, Executiveprivilege returns without the blinkers she wore for the only time in the Starlet.

A $650,000 2-year-old purchase at a Florida sale in April of last year, Executiveprivilege will break from the rail Thursday in the $85,000 allowance at six furlongs.

Rafael Bejarano, who rode her in six of her races as a 2-year-old, has the call.

From inside out, the complete field: Executiveprivilege, Rafael Bejarano rides, 114 pounds; Magical Band, Victor Espinoza, 122; Curvy Cat, Julien Leparoux, 122; Reneesgotzip, Garrett Gomez, 124; Shumoos, Corey Nakatani, 118; Gypsy Robin, Mike Smith, 118 and There Is No Limit, Kevin Krigger, 122.
