INGLEWOOD, Calif. (December 13, 2012)—Anthony Lee of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada won the $2,500 winner-take-all Show Me The Money contest Thursday at Betfair Hollywood Park.

The free challenge, which began Nov. 8 with 2,409 players, required a participant to choose one horse each racing day – in six designated races – at least 10 minutes before the first race. The selected horse had to finish first, second or third for a player to continue.

There were three survivors going into the 21st day of the Autumn meet, but Lee was the only player still standing at the end of Thursday’s card.

Lee selected fourth race winner There Is No Limit before Wayne Benafield of Henderson, Nevada and Craig Mahl of Anaheim were knocked out.

Benafield’s selection was Drift King, a much-troubled fifth in the fifth race while Mahl chose Alley Hondro, who finished seventh in the seventh.
