Show Me The Money Contest Won By Michigan Contestant
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Dec. 13, 2007) - Ralph Russell won Hollywood Park's winner-take-all $5,000 Show Me The Money contest on Wednesday when the other three contestants were eliminated.
Russell, of Inkster, Michigan, selected Tommy Luck, who was moved
from third to second after first-place finisher Black Mallou was
disqualified and placed sixth in the sixth race. The three other
players - all from Southern California - were eliminated when
favorite Mi Arcobaleno was eased in the seventh race.
The contest began with 2,482 contestants on Nov. 11. Players
selected one horse each racing day to finish first, second or
third and were eliminated if the horse finished out of the money.
