Heatseeker 123-Pound Gold Cup High Weight; Spots Tiago Two
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (June 22, 2008) - Santa Anita Handicap and Californian winner Heatseeker has been assigned high weight of 123 pounds for the 69th running of the Hollywood Gold Cup on Saturday.
Tiago, beaten by Heatseeker in the Big 'Cap and Californian, defeated him by a head in the Oaklawn Handicap and was assigned second high weight of 121 pounds for the 1¼-classic. Three-time defending champion Lava Man was assigned 120 pounds.
