INGLEWOOD, Calif. (June 4, 2008) - Favorite Gotta Have Her, making her first start since November, rallied four-wide at the top of the stretch en route to an easy 1 3/4-length victory under jockey Richard Migliore in Wednesday's $61,000 allowance feature at Hollywood Park.
Gotta Have Her, a winner of three races including the Harold C. Ramser Sr. Handicap for Green Lantern Stables in 2007, covered one mile on the Lakeside Turf Course in 1:34.31 while paying $5, $2.80 and $2.20. Cee Stone, ridden by Victor Espinoza, returned $4.20 and $3. The show payoff on Moujane was $2.40. Heathersdaddysbaby was a late scratch.
The victory was the fourth in 11 starts for Gotta Have Her, a 4-year-old daughter of Royal Academy. The Jenine Sahadi trainee banked $36,600 to raise her earnings to $213,023.
