An unprecedented 10 spots for the 2009 DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship will be up for grabs in the $65,000 Gold Cup Handicapping Challenge. The two-day event will take place Saturday, June 28 and Sunday June 29, 2008 in the Sunset Room at Hollywood Park.
This is a "real money" Handicapping Contest. Each player will receive a special Gold Cup Challenge handicapping contest card that will be funded by the player's initial $7,500 investment.
The top prize is $50,000 for the overall winner of the contest. $10,000 will go to the second place finisher and $5,000 to third.
A reception party will be held for players on Friday night, June 27. Plus, a free buffet will be served on contest days.
