Hollywood Park Will Not Interrupt Training While Fine Tuning Cushion Track In Preparation For 2008 Spring/Summer Meeting
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (March 25, 2008) - Training will not be interrupted when Hollywood Park refurbishes its Cushion Track with the addition of fibers and wax. The work is scheduled for April 2, weather permitting.
A similar procedure took place following the 63-day Spring/Summer Meet in July of 2007.
Hollywood Park's 60-day Spring/Summer Meet begins Wednesday, April 23, and runs through Sunday, July 13. It will be the fourth Hollywood Park meeting conducted on Cushion Track, which was installed prior the 2006 Autumn Meet.
