INGLEWOOD, Calif. (March 14, 2008) - Hollywood Park will hold its 18th annual Easter Egg Hunt in conjunction with KJLH Radio on Saturday, March 22.
The free event takes place in the track infield, which earned Hollywood Park its Lakes and Flowers moniker. Scheduled from 12 noon until 4 p.m, it annually attracts several thousand youngsters from Inglewood and surrounding areas.
"We expect this year to be bigger and better than ever," said Tonya Brown, event coordinator since 2002. "Besides the entertainment, food and refreshments, one of the highlights is the health fair. It will feature 30 booths this year."
Activities and attractions will include face painting, pony rides, prizes, The Home Depot Kids Craft Center and McDonald's Kids' World. Health screenings will once again be available.
Complimentary lunch will include hotdogs from Zacky Farms. Refreshments will be once again be provided by Daniel and Krishna Tabor with On Tour Catering handling serving duties.
KJLH Radio will provide a $5,000 scholarship, which will be raffled during the day. Forms to enter are available at the following Inglewood locations: The Home Depot, 3363 W.
