Hollywood Park television editor Kip Hannan, who put together the highly acclaimed television video "Living Legends" shown to the public on last Saturday's Gold Cup Day, has been chosen "Employee of the Week" for the season's final week.

He and track announcer Vic Stauffer shared a multimedia Eclipse Award in 2003 for a radio tribute to jockey Laffit Pincay Jr. on his 56th birthday. Hannan calls the "Living Legends" video a "labor of love." He acknowledges putting 40 hours of work into the four-minute video. "I poured my heart into it," he said.

A resident of Temple City, Hannan has been employed by Hollywood Park's television department for 19 years.
